The Tristan Suite at Skeldale House

Positive: What a fabulous find. Super stylish, spotlessly clean and a gorgeous location.

Peaceful location, great sleep and views - thank you! Positive: The kitchen is great - thanks for the milk and biscuits. I felt there could be a food waste bin supplied. The bathroom was big and I loved the tiling. I slept well; the bed was comfortable. Great views from the bed - I saw 2 typhoons fly past which was amazing. Negative: The seal on the shower screen didn’t work which left a pool of water on the floor. I then used a towel for later showers. There was some residual dust in the bathroom and there were chips in the paintwork in the bedroom. Also the TV signal was awful. These are minor points and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Positive: Tastefully decorated, clean and tidy. Lots of extras such as the Roberts Radio, lovely addition. Very pleasant accommodation Negative: The room was a little dark and when you had a shower, the water dripped off the bath edge onto floor which needed mopping up afterwards.

Charming and cosy Suites in the lovely small town of Askrigg Positive: Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. The attention to detail is stunning and the mixture of vintage and modern furniture adds to the charm. I felt like stepping into the Skeldale House of the 30s combined with the comfort of a modern boutique hotel. If you love the original version of "All creatures great and small" make sure to take a look into "The surgery", too. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure! Negative: Nothing, everything was perfect as it was.

Stunning,great location. Positive: The property was in a great location.It had all the facilities we needed.We met the hosts on arrival who were very friendly and informative about the local and wider reaching areas. Negative: We can’t think of anything about the property that could have been better,however the Wi-Fi was very spotty but this is outside the owners control so can’t be helped.
